Functional microscope with up to 100X magnification designed to be easily assembled and used by students. Made of wood and 3D printed parts with for the lenses, this microscope snaps together without the use of glue and can be easily assembled by students or a teacher

PARTS LIST

  • 2 3D printed plastic parts to hold lens
  • Package of 19 laser cut wood parts for assembling the microscope.
  • 1 laser cut acrylic mirror (you may want to substitute with LED)

BACK STORY

For many years Christina would teach her 7th grade Biology students about the microscope but she had a nagging feeling they didn’t fully understand how one worked. How better to help them understand than let them build one themselves?
